Our SDV Southeast team participated in build day with Habitat for Humanity of Collier County last week.

SDV's very own Stephanie A. Giagnorio was named as a 2022 Top Lawyer in Southwest Florida by Naples Illustrated. Stephanie was nominated in the insurance law category and featured in the magazine's September 2022 edition. We are proud of Stephanie's accomplishments and her dedication to representing policyholders in complex insurance claims litigation.

Our West Coast office continued our teambuilding momentum with a local trail cleanup volunteer event this past Tuesday. The trail is located on Grid Valley Preserve, a 47 acre protected wildlife habitat protected through Fallbrook Land Conservancy's partnership with the Department of Navy. We are always glad to support Fallbrook Land Conservancy and its efforts to protect native habitats and wildlife!

SDV has just successfully completed its 2022 Teambuilding Week! It is the first time since 2019 that our entire SDV family was able to be together. Attorneys and staff from all over the country were able to make it to the Northeast office for a week of learning, adventure, food, and fun.

On Wednesday our Northeast team participated in a Build Day with Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County in support of its mission to provide families with quality, affordable housing. We appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community - and have fun with our colleagues while doing so!

On December 31, 2021, New York enacted the Comprehensive Insurance Disclosure Act ("CIDA"), requiring defendants to provide plaintiffs with "complete" information for any insurance policy through which a judgment could be satisfied within sixty (60) days after serving an answer. Immediately prior to the implementation of CIDA's deadlines for the mandatory disclosure of insurance information in all pending civil actions on March 1st, NY passed the amendment to CIDA which relaxes certain provisions.
